This service is designed to provide you with an initial idea of how viable your project is.
We will conduct a single batch of patent searches and provide you with any relevant matches to determine whether or not your invention is innovative.
The benefit of the preliminary search is to enable you to cut your losses if we find a patent that is significantly relevant to your invention.
Please note, this is a preliminary search and not a fixed fee for final results like our Feasibility Study service. If further research is needed and you wish to continue with your project, you can upgrade to our Feasibility Study service with the cost of the preliminary search dicounted!

A complete service, designed to give you the peace of mind that your invention is an innovative idea, without bombarding you with piles of patent paperwork.
The study includes a commercial search and also a detailed evaluation based on the results.
We use our own patent search software, developed in-house, with integrated patent and product searches .
The objective of the study is not to provide you with a copy of every patent document that has ever been filed that might possibly relate to your idea, but to establish, to a reasonable degree of certainty, if it already exists and thus if it is worth investing any further in the idea.
The study would consist of:
a. Commercial search
b. Preliminary patent search
c. Academic/scientific search (if appropriate)
d. Evaluation and recommendations.
The results of this should help you to decide whether or not it is worth taking the project any further.
